Fred Fred is the CEO of Interchange Outer East and has been working with Interchange for twenty six years.
Fred really enjoyed catching up with the people from Athla and seeing members from our group really getting involved, growing up and adapting to the culture.
Kimberley Kimberley is the Children and Family Services Team Leader at Interchange Outer East and is also the proud mother of Campbell and Riley.
Kimberley said "it was really hard to pick a particular experience has each city was different however the highlights would be the Vatican and the Sistine chapel, the Milan Duomo, lake Orta and the Coluseum.
Shelley Shelley is the Children's & Family Services Coordinator and is in charge of organising recreation activities and camps at Interchange Outer East.
Shelley really enjoyed the medieval night and learning to play the different musical instruments with the orchestra.
Lyndal Lyndal is the proud parent of Ebony, Bethany and Tabatha and they all are involved in Interchange Outer East's programs and services.
Lyndal has enjoyed everything but most of all she enjoyed the disability band in Milan with Athla and visiting the palace in Venice.
Jack Jack is a seventeen year old who has been involved with Interchange since he was roughly four years old.
Jack has enjoyed the entire trip so far but has found the soccer game one of the highlights.
Jack enjoys soccer, eating chocolate and dancing to rock and roll especially ACDC.
Ebony Ebony is a thirteen year old who has been involved in Interchange's siblings programs and has now been a volunteer for a year.
Ebony’s favorite activity so far has been the visit to the lake with the boat ride. Ebony enjoys dancing and playing football in her spare time.
Isaac Isaac is a thirteen year old who has been involved in Interchanges programs for six years and aspires to be a volunteer because his brother has a disability.
Isaac has enjoyed the entire trip so far and is looking forward to visiting Rome. Isaac also enjoys the outdoors and playing sports in his spare time.
Bethany Bethany
is fifteen years old and regularly participates in Interchange activities.
Bethany’s
favorite activity so far was the boat ride at lake Orta. Bethany
has enjoyed looking at the Italian men and watching Shrek on her Ipad.
Campbell Campbell
is an eight year old who has been involved in a range of different
Interchange activities due to his mum, Kimberley’s work at Interchange.
Campbell
has enjoyed visiting lake Orta due to going on the boat ride to see the lake
in the middle. Campbell is looking forward to visiting the museum while in
Milan.
Campbell
enjoys playing football, tennis and cricket. During the trip Campbell has
enjoyed being Katie’s apprentice with Campbell often taking pictures and
writing blogs.
Katie Katie
is a sixteen-year-old United Youth Media reporter who has only been involved
with Interchange for this trip but she wishes to continue volunteering once
she returns home.
Katie’s
favorite thing about the trip has been the welcome and the support from Interchange
and everyone involved in the Melmi project. Katie has enjoyed the entire trip
with every part being a highlight.
Katie is looking forward to going to Rome to
experience the ancient civilization of Rome.
Alanna Alanna
is nineteen years old and has been participating with Interchange since she
was roughly three and a halve years old.
Alanna
has really enjoyed socializing with new people, making friends, the old
buildings and the entire trip overall.
Alanna is looking forward to what is ahead
especially Rome and Venice, the shopping, the views and the Vatican.
